Oct. 1, 2012 – Kevin James, star of the new movie “Here Comes the Boom,” and Bas Rutten will visit Mall of America® on Wednesday, October 3. Beginning at 5 p.m., James & Rutten will participate in a Q & A session, moderated by K102′s Muss, followed by a special autograph signing for fans. At 6:15 p.m., James & Rutten will walk the red carpet at Theatres at Mall of America®. Joining James & Rutten for the autograph signing and red carpet will be UFC middleweight contender Mark Munoz. Munoz taught James some of the fighting moves seen in “Here Comes the Boom” and appears in the movie as one of James’ character’s opponents.
PLUS, enter to win tickets to the UFC fight at Target Center on Friday, October 5 by stopping by the Rotunda between 3 and 5 p.m. and placing your name in the drawing. Winners will be announced on stage at 5 p.m. Must be present to win!

In the comedy “Here Comes the Boom,” former college wrestler Scott Voss (Kevin James) is a 42-year-old biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten to cancel the music program and lay off its teacher (Henry Winkler), Scott begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy – most of all the school nurse, Bella (Salma Hayek). But in his quest, as Scott becomes more and more committed to fighting for the students, he becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school. The film is directed by Frank Coraci.
